When families choose a preschool, they’re not just looking for a place to drop off their child — they’re looking for a community they can trust. At Jellybean Junction, we understand that trust begins with safety.
As the IT Administrator, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to make our systems smarter, faster, and more secure — and over the past years, we’ve made major strides in ensuring our campus is one of the safest learning environments in the region.
While Arkansas licensing sets important safety standards, we’ve chosen to go further. Every door on our campus is access-controlled. Our facility is equipped with over 25 cameras, ensuring full visibility across classrooms, hallways, entry points, and outdoor areas. We’ve also added a dedicated internal communication system that allows our staff to call for assistance at the touch of a button, and when seconds matter, that speed can make all the difference.
One of our most significant upgrades is our rapid lockdown capability. At any moment, our leadership team can lock down the entire campus within seconds. This isn’t just about technology, it’s about peace of mind. And it’s something we believe every family deserves.
I’ll admit, when we first discussed these upgrades, there were questions about whether it was all really necessary. But looking at where we are now, it’s clear that these measures have done more than increase security, they’ve elevated the standard of care across our entire program. Our staff feels more confident. And, we hope our families feel more assured. And our students can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and just being kids.
Safety isn’t just a feature at Jellybean Junction. It’s foundational to who we are.
If you ever have questions about how we protect our campus, we’re always happy to talk. Because at the end of the day, we want every parent to feel as secure as their child does when they walk through our doors.
